Brief CV

The main research interests include the transfer of solar radiation through the atmosphere and the estimation of the effects of different atmospheric constituents, such aerosols and clouds. Particular emphasis is given on solar energy model calculations and measurements, as well as on past and future UV changes related to climate change and their effect on human health. The research activities are focused on the extensive use of radiative transfer models in synergy with measurements of radiation, aerosol and cloud properties. Experimental work includes monitoring of shortwave and UV radiation with various instruments, as well as data management and QA/QC procedures.
